Fast X

Exploring the Final Ride Comes Alive in the Fast & Furious series

From May 19th 2023, Fast X makes its dashing appearance as a 10th install in the Fast & Furious franchise. Louis Leterrier undertook the project, and he did quite an impressive job. This film tackles family, fearless stunts and intense action with the ‘thrilling’ theme blazing through the film. With block buster actors such as Vin Diesel, and introducing Diesel, portraying a wrathful character called Dante Reyes, Fast X promises heart-stopping moments throughout while aiming to culminate the saga.

Fast X: A Story Filled With Revenge, Family and Everything in Between

Starting off the movie, there’s also an important flashback to an event that transpired in Fast Five. Toretto, being the prime villain of this film, is shown as a businessman trying to unwittingly pull off a heist. He gets bulldozed by Dom and Brian who steal his riches. This flashback helps the audience understand the reasoning behind Dante Reyes’s burning vengeance.

We’re now in the present timeline, where Dante has come out of hiding to take the fight to Dom’s inner circle, which includes, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), Roman (Tyrese Gibson), Tej (Ludacris), Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel), and Han (Sung Kang). To deepen the stakes further, Dante’s plans are set to target Dom’s 8 year old son, Brian Marcos. With a desire to save their own, the crew attempts to fend off Dantes Plans as they travel all around the world, fighting in places such as Rio de Janeiro, Rome, Los Angeles, and even Antarctica.

With the return of old faces Cipher (Charlize Theron) and Jakob (John Cena), as well as new characters Aimes (Alan Ritchson) and Tess (Brie Larson), old dynamics are shifted dramatically. The film concludes on a cliffhanger which opens the door for the franchise’s final chapter.
